The Experience

What Campers Will Do

Identify a Problem or Need

Campers brainstorm everyday issues or gaps they can address.

Form a Team or Go Solo

Kids can pair up with others who share similar ideas or work independently if they prefer.

Build a Product or Service

Through guided workshops, participants create physical prototypes, outline a digital product/tool, or craft a service offer.

Get Real Feedback & Early Customers

They practice pitching to peers, mentors, or even real test users—aiming to land their first supporters.

Promote & Present

By the end of the week, each camper shows off their finished concept, along with simple promotional materials.

Learn AI and Business

Kids learn how to use AI tools to build business ideas, code, and solve real problems through automation.

Daily Themes

Each day focuses on a critical aspect of bringing a product or service to life

Day 1: Brainstorm & Basics

Learn simple budgeting and idea generation. Begin forming teams or decide to work solo.

Day 2: Build the Product/Service

Construct a physical prototype, outline a digital product or tool, or develop a service offer.

Day 3: Refine & Get Feedback

Finalize core features, gather impressions from peers or mentors, and adjust based on input.

Day 4: Promote & Create Content

Focus on marketing channels, content creation, and first steps in reaching actual customers.

Day 5: Present & Celebrate

Formally pitch the finished concept, share marketing materials, and enjoy a fun closing event.

Young Founders Fair

Even after the camp wraps up, participants keep momentum going at the Young Founders Fair (scheduled for September or October). At this community-wide event, children can showcase their businesses and continue their entrepreneurial journey.

  • Exhibit & Sell: Kids set up booths or displays to show off their creations.
  • Connect with Real Customers: Attendees can offer honest feedback and make purchases.
  • Meet Local Businesses & Mentors: A chance to link up with local entrepreneurs who love seeing youth projects.
